At Dseal Solutions Pvt Ltd ("Dseal", "we", "us"), we manufacture expansion joint systems, covers, sealing materials and tile adhesives to exacting engineering standards. Your satisfaction matters to us. This policy explains when and how you may return a product, and how refunds and replacements are handled. It applies to purchases made from Dseal and from www.dseal.in. By placing an order you accept the terms below.
1. Eligibility for Returns
Standard, in-stock (non-customised) products may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided that:
- The item is unused, uninstalled and in its original condition and packaging, with all labels, seals and accessories intact.
- You can provide valid proof of purchase (invoice or order number).
- The product is a catalogue/stock item — not a custom-fabricated, cut-to-length or made-to-order item (see Section 2).
To begin, please notify us within the 14-day window using the steps in Section 4. Returns received without prior authorisation may not be accepted.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Because many of our products are engineered to order, the following are not eligible for return or refund except where they arrive damaged, defective or incorrect (see Section 3):
- Custom-fabricated and cut-to-length expansion joint profiles, covers and systems made to your specified dimensions.
- Made-to-order and special-order items, including custom RAL colours and non-standard finishes.
- Opened or used consumables — tile adhesives, coatings, sealants, backer rods, tapes and membranes once the packaging is opened.
- Products sold as clearance, "as-is" or final sale.
- Items damaged through misuse, incorrect installation, alteration or normal wear.
3. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
We inspect and pack every order carefully, but if something is wrong we will make it right at no cost to you.
- On delivery: please inspect your shipment on arrival and report visible transit damage or shortages within 48 hours, noting it on the carrier's delivery documentation where possible.
- Manufacturing defects: report a defect or an incorrect item shipped within 7 days of delivery, with your invoice number and clear photographs.
For any damaged, defective or incorrect item, Dseal will — at our discretion and after verification — arrange a free replacement or a full refund, including any return shipping we ask you to arrange. Please retain the goods and packaging until the matter is resolved.
4. How to Request a Return
- Step 1 — Email dhawan@mkdhawan.com or call +91 93109 97953 with your order/invoice number, the item(s) concerned, the reason for return, and photographs where relevant.
- Step 2 — Our team will confirm eligibility and issue a Return Authorisation with return instructions and address.
- Step 3 — Pack the item securely in its original packaging and return it within 7 days of receiving authorisation, writing the Return Authorisation number on the outside of the parcel.
- Step 4 — Once we receive and inspect the item, we will confirm your replacement or refund.
5. Refunds
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of our receiving and inspecting the returned goods.
- For eligible change-of-mind returns of stock items, a restocking fee of up to 15% and the original outbound shipping cost may be deducted.
- For damaged, defective or incorrect items, you receive a full refund or free replacement with no restocking fee.
- Bank or payment-gateway processing times may add a few additional days before the credit appears on your statement.
6. Return Shipping Costs
- Change-of-mind returns: the customer is responsible for return shipping; we recommend a tracked, insured service.
- Our error / damaged / defective goods: Dseal covers all return and re-delivery shipping costs.
7. Order Cancellations
You may cancel an order before it is dispatched or, for made-to-order items, before fabrication begins, for a full refund. Once a custom item has entered production or an order has shipped, it is governed by the return terms above.
8. Product Warranty
