Sealing & Bonding
Dseal Expansion Joint Adhesives
A complete range of high-performance expansion joint adhesive and sealant systems engineered to seal and bond movement joints across concrete, metal, wood and rubber — on both horizontal and vertical surfaces.
Bonding and sealing built to move
Dseal expansion joint adhesives are formulated for the demands of modern Indian construction, where structures must accommodate thermal movement, settlement and dynamic load while remaining watertight. Each adhesive bonds securely to concrete, metal, wood and rubber substrates, making it suitable for new build and refurbishment alike.
Whether you are sealing a building movement joint, a bridge deck or an industrial floor, our adhesives deliver a durable, flexible bond that performs across a wide service temperature range and remains 100% waterproof and airtight once cured.

Why Dseal
Engineered performance you can rely on
Wide Temperature Range
Stable performance from −40°C to +120°C, withstanding extreme heat and cold without cracking or loss of adhesion.
Long Service Life
A dependable service life of 15–25 years, reducing maintenance cycles and lowering whole-life cost across the joint.
Watertight & Airtight
100% waterproof and airtight once fully cured, protecting structures against water ingress and air leakage.
Low-VOC & Non-Toxic
Formulated to be low-VOC and non-toxic, supporting safer handling on site and healthier indoor environments.

Adhesive types
| Type | Best For | Key Strength |
|---|---|---|
| Polyurethane | Building & road joints | Flexible, weather-resistant |
| Silicone | Glass, metal, facades | UV-stable, waterproof |
| Epoxy | Heavy-duty structural | Rigid, chemical-resistant |
| Hybrid polymer | High-movement joints | Strong + flexible, low-VOC |
Applications
- Bridges & roads — sealing deck and carriageway expansion joints against traffic loading and weather.
- Building & architectural joints — movement and facade joints on commercial and residential structures.
- Industrial & warehouse floors — durable, chemical-resistant joints for high-traffic working environments.
- Waterproofing & construction joints — watertight sealing of cold joints and below-grade construction.
How to apply
Application follows four straightforward steps. First, prepare the surface so it is clean, dry and sound, removing all dust, laitance and loose material. Second, prime the joint if the substrate or adhesive type requires it. Third, apply the adhesive with a sealant gun or trowel, tooling it firmly into the joint for full contact. Finally, allow it to cure over 24–48 hours, protecting the joint from water and foot traffic until the bond has fully developed.
FAQs
Common questions
Which substrates can Dseal expansion joint adhesives bond to?
Our adhesives bond reliably to concrete, metal, wood and rubber, and can be used on both horizontal and vertical joints, making them suitable for a wide range of building and infrastructure applications.
What service temperature range do the adhesives withstand?
Once cured, Dseal adhesives perform across a service temperature range of −40°C to +120°C, remaining flexible in cold conditions and stable under high heat.
How long do the adhesives take to cure?
Typical cure time is 24–48 hours depending on the product, temperature and humidity. The joint should be protected from water and foot traffic until curing is complete.
Which adhesive type should I choose?
Choose polyurethane for flexible building and road joints, silicone for UV-stable facades and glass-to-metal joints, epoxy for rigid heavy-duty structural bonding, and hybrid polymer for high-movement joints needing strength with flexibility.
Are the adhesives waterproof and safe to use?
Yes. When fully cured the adhesives are 100% waterproof and airtight, and the formulations are low-VOC and non-toxic for safer handling on site.
